Block of the Month
The 2020-2021 BOM is a melee of half-square triangles. The plan(after a Covid hiatus lasting longer than any of us thought it would) is to finish the blocks by April and have the BOM "reveal" at our June meeting. Everyone showing a completed top with all the blocks in it will be eligible for a big prize drawing!
Free Stuff
The Free Stuff area will resume once we begin meeting in person.
We now have a ‘Free Stuff’ area for quilt-related items that you no longer want, such as patterns, orphan blocks, fabrics, etc. Just bring your items to the meeting and put them in the ‘Free Stuff’ area. During the meeting someone might look at your donation and see a treasure. Please check after break to see if your donation was taken . If not, please take it home; you can always bring it back next month. Any free stuff left after the meeting will be discarded.
Get ‘Er Done (GED)
Do you have unfinished projects needing your attention? Want some motivation for finishing one or more of them? To participate in our 2021 GED! Simply complete a GED list of up to 6 unfinished projects, easiest listed first, include your name and email, and keep the bottom half for your reference. You may download the form below. Give us your list, along with a participation fee of $2 per item, so we can keep track of your progress and enter your name for a drawing. Every other month, we will draw a project number that you are tasked with finishing by a future date. Bring proof of completion at the designated meeting and you’ll be eligible for a prize drawing. For questions or more information, contact Debbie Basile
Library
The Guild maintains a library of quilting books for members’ use. Guild members can check out up to three books a month, which are due back at the following guild meeting.
Sew and Sew Raffle
At each meeting, the Sew and Sew Raffle committee presents fabric, books, patterns, and other quilt-related treasures for which members and guests can purchase tickets. The Sew and Sew Raffle will continue when we resume mein in person.
Show and Tell
During a portion of our monthly general meetings, members have an opportunity to share their quilts in a Show and Tell moment. We love to see what our members have been making! We love seeing Show and Tell on our Zoom meetings.
Snacks
What’s our favorite activity? Quilting. What’s our second favorite activity? Snacking. At every meeting, we ask certain members to bring finger-food snacks for guild members to enjoy. They need to be brought to the kitchen by 6:15pm on the night of the meeting. Please be sure to sign in to let us know who brought what. There will be a Hospitality schedule once we start meeting in person again.
For the activities above.
