Our Opportunity Quilt

This 56” x 71” quilt features twelve intricately pieced blocks and beautifully hand-appliquéd borders, created using patterns and fabrics by Starr Design Fabrics. The soft pastels of the hand-dyed fabrics used in the quilt’s construction evoke a garden in full bloom, bathed in the gentle glow of a full moon.

Moonlit Garden was pieced and appliquéd by Pioneer Quilters’ Guild members Valerie Price, Lana La Plante, Candy Brown, Claudine Matulich, Wendy Ellinger, Maryanne Paveglio, Leslie Brush-Hauck, Bev Rognlien, and Chris Watt. The quilt was machine-quilted by professional quilter Beth Handy, whose floral quilting motif beautifully complements the design. 

We will sell tickets  to win this quilt throughout the year until December.  A drawing for the winning ticket will be held at our guild’s December 7, 2026 meeting.
