2024 Challenge: "Alphabet Art Quilt"

THE CHALLENGE

Create  a quilt inspired by a randomly drawn letter from the alphabet.  The  quilt must feature the letter, set against a background inspired by the  letter.  Feel free to use the letter as a noun, proper noun, verb,  place, color, quilt block, etc.  Any quilt style or technique can be  used.  The "letter" can be appliqued, embroidered, pieced, quilted,  painted, etc.  There must be 3 layers (front, batting, back).  Please do  not mount or frame your quilt with wood, or any other hard material.  

Finished quilt size:  18"x18"

THE COST

Participation fee:   $5. 

IMPORTANT DATES

SIGN-UPS START:  February 5, 2024 guild meeting.  

REVEAL DATE: November 4, 2024 guild meeting.  Meeting attendees will vote on their favorite quilt(s) entered into the Challenge.
